FAIC’s Collections Assessment for Preservation (CAP) and Conserv are partnering to help small and mid-sized museums manage their collection environments with confidence. FAIC’s Collections Assessment for Preservation (CAP) program provides general conservation assessments to small and mid-sized museums. To help these museums gather climate data data, which they otherwise lack, Conserv will provide free used, but functional, data loggers traded in through our Small Collections Monitoring Program. The used data loggers get a second life, and small collections and CAP assessors get the environmental data they need.
